So much for posting once a week....

What's new in my world? DD's baby brother was born on her birthday,and she is pretty excited to meet him in the next six months or so... She's handled it much better than anticipated!

We had a great trip visiting DD. The weather was super hot and humid, which I don;t like... But we ate great food, saw the sights and overall it was a good trip.

We made lots of salsa ( over 60 bottles I'm guessing, plus mustard beans, red pepper jelly and tomato sauce...

My first puppy, my darling boy is not doing well... He's got a visit with the vet on Tuesday and some tough decisions will be made that day... I cry every time I think about it...

LG and I are doing well. He brought me a single red rose the other day... :) We've had a really good fall, and he's got the big 50 happening in November...

I'm starting to plan some xmas stuff... Nothing too big this year. But fun will be had by all...

Other than that I'm still kicking! How's everyone doing?

Sam! Always so good to hear from you. How fun that your DD and her brother have the same birthday - 25 years apart! That's pretty amazing, actually. I have a friend whose brother and sister have the same birthday, and only a year apart!

That's a lot of salsa! Yum!

So glad to hear that you & LG are doing so well.

Sorry to hear your dog isn't doing well. My two cats are like family; so I understand how you feel. My daughter found out she had a half-sister when she was 16 and her sister was 2. It was very awkward for awhile but not that she is 27 and her sister is 13 they have developed a nice relationship. Quite the coincidence about the date of birth of DD's baby brother!
