Sunday Jan 10/16

This weekend flew by. The dogs had two lovely long walks, and lots of love.  The weather has been really good so far and my power usage is a lot less than it was last year...

I worked at my pt job last night and it was insanely busy. I had a table where the wife indicated that she wanted the drink cut off, and the men were getting too touchy feely with myself and the other female servers. It  did not go over well. Needless to say I got told off and I paid to serve them... Ouch, however, I stand by my decision and feel it was for the best. Funny part, one forgot their phone and had to go today to pick it up. I hope that they felt a little remorse for their actions...

LG and I spent the day together today. I went to his house late this morning, and we ate bagels and talked and laughed. We stopped by his parents place for a quick visit and I saw his father's latest invention/toy he created. We went to see Revenant this afternoon, I paid as I having been buying the movie passes at Costco ( and he is much better about me paying for things now). I was blown away by how good the movie was. we had supper at Dairy Queen and we hung out at his house for another bit, as my car was there. My mom came over and let the dogs out this afternoon and fed them too.

I did very little around the house this weekend, so Tuesday is going to be house cleaning day... and laundry catch up. I work Monday and Thursday at my pt job, and I'm off for the weekend. LG and I are planning to go away for a weekend in February and fingers crossed we'll go somewhere in March break with my family and bring his son too... I'd like to go to Quebec and meet up with DD for a day or two...

What terrible customers! Like you said, I hope the shame washed over them later when they realized how they'd behaved, but I suppose that's too much insight to ask for.

Inappropriate clients are such a pain.
I hope there was remorse for actions for sure. Though, it probably didn't occur to them that they were doing anything to offend anyone...and there lays a problem for sure.

Good for you for taking action. Sorry to hear you ended up paying for it.

Good for you for taking action on this.
Too bad they couldn't think straight and you ended up paying for it.

Will your work/restaurant not pay for this? Doesn't make sense it comes out of your pocket! They are customers of the restaurant, not of you personally

I'm so glad you enjoyed The Revenant as it's on my MUST SEE list! Always great to hear positive things! I think there's some Oscar buzz surrounding this movie already. You did the right thing with those tipsy men - I hope there is a manager who will back you up when something like that happens!
