It was a close one today ( and I'm not talking hockey, yet)

This morning I had the pleasure of experiencing a once in a life time thing. I was driving cherry across the bridge, and I saw a yellow cube truck coming my way. Then I saw a sheet of ice fly off the top of the truck and it was headed my way.  I saw a sheet of dirty brown flying through the air headed towards my side of the car. The side mirror took the impact, and it shook the car.  I know I screamed and brought my left hand up in front of my face. I couldn't stop on the bridge, so I pulled over a few minutes later, shaking to assess the damage. One cracked plastic casing on the back of the mirror. That was it. It'll cost me 60.00 to have it replaced.  I'm so thankful that I'm ok and that no one else was hurt by the drivers stupidity...

The best part of the day was watching the womne's hockey game in the office this afternoon. I screamed and jumped out of my chair when we scored the winning goal...

YIKES - so glad you're ok! The damage (to you and the car) could have been so much worse. I watched the game on our large screen in the classroom and I could hear shrieks of joy all over the school as the winning goal was made. It was wonderful!

Sam,
Glad you are ok, what a scare you must have had.
Ya I think every work office in the Maritime"s was glued to the T.V, phone, lap top or what ever device watching our Canadian athletics perform their best. The ladies have been golden.
Big celebration's in the works for Heather Moyse.
