week one update...

Well, let's see...

I spent money on winter gear that I didn't plan on 125.00 ( but my face and body are very happy when it's minus 35 with the wind chill)

I've spent 200.00 on improving my physical fitness ( and with that goes improved mental health)...

I spent 30 on gas today ( it's been so cold I used 1/2 tank in a week)

I spent 50 on groceries so far ( and I even bought chips and haven't touched them yet... which is a miracle, I bought the chips on Sunday, so that's two days they've been in the house).

I have 80.00 coming back at some point to pay for the boosts for my car ( that will go ether towards my dentist trip, passport or MC).

I have money saved ( over 40 for sure)... Which for me is pretty amazing. I'm sticking to my 5.00/serving shift stashed as soon as I walk in the door .

I've walked the dog 7/7 days so far this month... My goal is 28/31...

I would definitely consider the clothes a "must" if you have to be outside during this cold weather! Stay warm - it's insane outside!

When I waited tables, I always stashed a bit aside like you're doing. Good for you for getting our in this "crisp" weather.

Lucky dog! I bought my daughter's Canada Goose coat from her when she lost weight - it's worth its weight in gold, or it that cold? Yes, physical and mental health are closely linked. Improve one and you improve the other.
