So much for low spend/no spend...

80.00 for boosts ( but I'll get reimbursed). Cherry now has a new and better battery, she's a happy car...

125 for a new winter jacket, face mask and mittens... The face mask and mittens were a must, as walking the dog in -40 means my face needs to be covered and the jacket? Well, I've wanted a new outdoor coat for a few years ( one to play outside with) and I found it on sale, and I had the money, so I bought it...

The face mask needs to be worn with my contacts, as my glasses fog up, and considering I'm pretty much legally blind without them made for an interesting walk this afternoon. I know the trail very well, so I went without them... I don't think I'd go without glasses in the summer, but the trail is nice and even right now, so it was a good walk... I even had crystals on my eyelashes when I got home...

I'll try and take a selfie of me bundled up tomorrow for my walk...

My little town didn't get the blizzard today, but I saw photos of those who did! Wow... nasty weather this year!

Crazy chilly weather requires proper attire! We're in California, so it was a high of 65 or something here today. It doesn't feel like reality to have this weather in the winter!

Stay warm.

A face mask is a must in the cold. When you reach for it over a regular stocking hat, that's how you know its really cold. Good for you for getting out in this cold.

I really admire that you get out and walk so much in this terrible winter weather! I can't handle the wind and my little pooch even less so!

I had to put a new battery in my kid's car after needing a boost before xmas.

The joys of Canadian winters!

Sam,
Good spending on the jacket and other essentials needed for these freezing temp. I don't think I remember it ever being this cold for so long. We got buried with snow again.
Love your car's name. Funny how we name our vehicles.
Glad you will get that boosting money back. Gotta love new car warranties.

My daughter had a Canada Goose coat that was too big for her and therefore just right for me so I gave her $200 for it a year ago and man is it warm! The downside is its white so I only wear it when the weather is like this - flippin' cold!! Glad Cherry is feeling better - you sure don't want to get stuck somewhere waiting for a boost!
