Waiting...

My Dad is not doing well. His time here on earth is drawing to a close, it will be a few days until the end ( or could be shorter). My mother and I have had a few discussions about his passing and what it means to her: the loss of her partner and best friend of 55 years,  the loneliness that will follow and most of all, her worrying if Dad is suffering and what he's thinking right now. They're keeping him comfortable now, and that's the main thing. I'm off to bed for a few hours, thanks to all for your comments and thoughts and prayers, they mean a lot!
