What's new in my world?

Well, I hurt/strained my back and I'm off work everywhere for two weeks! Eek, puts a wrench into the budget, but I have to take care of my health first.My BP has been running high for a few weeks ( I'm tracking it daily), so there are things I have to do about this too!

So, I'll be doing little things around the house, like filing papers, dusting, etc for 15 minutes at a time.  I have a hard time sitting in front of the computer, so I'm even limited on how much time I spend here.

I'll do a bit of baking every couple of days, making soups, etc to keep my food budget as low as possible. I have lots of stuff to make food with, so I'm guessing that I'll be spending about 50.00 for food for the next few weeks.

I have already planned a trip to see DD next weekend, so I'll be going there and I'll be going to see my brother in a few days. Now I'm off to the couch with my heating pad ( who's become my new BFF)...

Sorry to hear, Sam! Take care and take it slow. Back injuries certainly take their time to heal. Try cold compresses, it does seem to work, although it's not at soothing as the hot ones! I also found that acupuncture worked a treat for me. Regardless, hope you're feeling better soon. Take care! x
