Well, that was a close one!

Exhibit one: pie baked in the oven, resulting in a mess in the bottom of the oven...
Exhibit two: the oven having a disposable liner , making clean up easy...
Exhibit three: me forgetting to take the liner out...
Exhibit four: me turning the oven on without checking it...
Exhibit five: me placing supper in the oven...
Exhibit six: me sitting on the couch drinking juice...
Exhibit seven: smelling smoke...
Exhibit eight: strooling to the kitchen...
Exhibit nine: opening the oven door to see flames...
Exhibit ten:  turn oven off, calmly grabbing the baking soda and dousing said flames...
Exhibit eleven: removing the liner after flames are out...
Exhibit twelve: turn oven back on to resume supper! 

And that's why we should  NOT leave the house while using the oven!
