After the yard sale....

and I made 115.00... Now off to the bank with my money... oh and a funny note? Someone stole a bowl...  LOL...

The funny thing is I bet if they would've asked you if they could have it because they didn't have any money, you probably would've given it to them. Stealing is pathetic but stealing from a garage sale is extra pathetic. That's a nice chunk of change.

That's a great success! I think people who steal will steal from anywhere, regardless. I used to find tags from sale items hidden in the cushions at the clothing store I used to work in - the items were like $9.99, not $49.99 or anything. And lots of stuff got stolen from a big weekend garage sale that was a fundraiser for the humane society here. Pathetic, but what are you going to do? I agree with ND Chic in that you likely would have given it to them anyway!

Really, someone stole a bowl? I guess they really needed it or just thought it was included in some other stuff they purchased.
I scored big time at a giant yard sale where books where going for 4 for a dollar!!!! I got the whole series of Clan of the Cave Bear which I wanted to re-read at the beach or just anywhere and Hubby got about 10 books by Kathy
Reichs, Ann Patchett etc. I'm also talking hard covers.
I just love yard sales.

I scored big at a yard sale where books where going for 4 for a $1.00
including hard cover books.
We purchased the whole set of The Clan of the Cave Bear, Kathy Reichs, and Ann Patchett books.
This is a great for us because we have lots to read at the beach and in the Gazebo.
It was a beautiful day here as I'm sure it was there.
