starting to feel better...

I'm not 100% yet, but I do feel a bit better. ( I wanted to rip my head off Friday night, my sinuses were so plugged that the neti pot didn't work, but I managed to get it to work on Saturday morning). I did manage 2 short walks with the dog this weekend, plus I worked a 8.5 hour shift yesterday. I made 90.00 CDN and 46.00 American ( which is going towards my spending money for my trip down south). I spent nothing Saturday, today DD and I joined my parents at a church supper and it was a total of 20.00 for the 2 of us. I also got gas 56.00, tobacco 21.00, potatoes 20.00 ( I'll get 10 back from a friend), and 12.00 for a bucket of double chocolate cookie dough.

I have a chicken roasting in the oven, which DD and I will split for the week. I stuffed it with lemon, onion, fresh rosemary, salt and pepper. I didn't buy any groceries this weekend, and if DD needs anything, she'll be buying it.

I'm having turkey dinner here next Sunday, with about 15 people coming. I'll buy the turkey and make the stuffing, and the others that are coming will bring the other things. My mom will bring dessert and cranberries, my sister is making mashed potatoes and a sweet potato dish, a family friend will be making carrots and another veggie, my cousin will be bringing the rolls and maybe a third veggie. All in all, it's looking like it'll be a happy Thanksgiving.

I'm off to pack my bags and I'm hoping everyone is feeling better!

Sam,
Glad you are feeling better. Your Thanksgiving family and friends get together sounds yummy. Lots of good eats at your place.
I just love Thanksgiving, we have so much to be thankful for and I especially think of this while eating a beautiful prepared meal with family.
