Buying groceries...

So far this week I've spent probably over 350.00 in groceries and household goods. Yep, for two people. Mind you, I'll be running two households again come Tuesday morning. That means double of everything for me, so I don't have to constantly pack everything up and drag it back and forth between homes.

Tomorrow, my sister and her family are coming over for a late lunch/early dinner and we'll be BBQing steak, veggies and having some delicious dessert of some kind.

I've got the pantry pretty well stocked up, healthy snacks bought for work ( like raisins, crackers, etc). I also spent 50.00 for cheese at Costco... huge blocks of parm and asiago ( should be enough for the year).

On a side note, I got my hair cut on Friday... and it's not pretty! It's got long pieces, too short pieces, etc. DD will "fix" my hair as best she can, but I guess I'll be looking for someone else to cut my hair...

I did make a huge pot of chili today. It's got 2 cans of beans ( white and red, 3 cups of shredded zucchini, 1 cup of corn, plus 2 cans of tomatoes. It shold feed me for quite a few lunches.

Sam, I hadn't been blogging or keeping up with other blogs until now. I read throught the last month or so. I was surprised about your house. You didn't go into that many details on why it fell through.

I would love to get your recipe for your chili. That sounds really good.
