Fun and frugal times...
So my motto for July will be fun and frugal... Frugal by using up, and making do... Fun by doing things I love, that will cost me very little.
Here's how I started out the month of July; Last night I was invited on a boat ride to watch the fire works on the water. ( If you ever have a chance to see fireworks from a boat do it! It's amazing!). I made a sangria to take, using a bottle of strawberry wine that was a gift, vodka that's been in my fridge since last June, a container of strawberry/kiwi juice ( 79 cents), a sliced lime (75 cents) and 1/2 a quart of strawberries ( 2.00), plus some 7 up ( 50 cents). It was very good...
Today I've been invited to a washer toss tournament, I just have to bring food as admission, and I have pork marinading in the fridge, and I can make a dessert to go too! I haven't made up my mind about going, but just knowing that I can is exciting enough...
