A hodge podge post

First to answer Island Witch's snowshoe question about what kind of snow shoes do I have? I have tradition wood style ones that I bought at Costco about 10 years ago. DD has a more streamlined pair, but her's are wooden too! I would love to have a smaller metal pair, but I'll make do with my big one. ( I get quite the work out with them!)

I caved yesterday and bought some fried chicken... It was very tasty, but it made my poor stomach bloat really quick ( I looked like I was about 6 months pregnant) but the bloat disappered after about 2 hours. Total spent 12.59, as I bought some for my landlady too.

DD sent me a message saying her student loan wasn't at the University... I gave the 1-800 number to call. Was I happy? No, as she told me back in December that the loan was at the school, and she's been back for almost 2 weeks... Just went today to pick it up...

It's been 3 years since the "boys in red" and the coaches wife passed away in a car crash. I'm not posting a link as I usually fail in my attepmts. Just google the phrase and you'll see what I'm taking about. Island witch, I looked for the instructions you sent me, but I can;t find them right this minute!

I made tuna casserole for supper and it was so-so, but not what I want to eat! I have enough leftovers for 2 more meals... Lunch for tomorrow and Friday I'm thinking.

On a really good note, it's looking like I'll be able to work from home on FRIDAY'S!
I'll know for sure tomorrow, but what does that mean for me? Less money spent on rent ( 15.00/week), and sleeping in my own bed 4 nights a week! Yahoo!

I'll be really glad when I'll be able to teach from home har har! That'll be the day. Sounds like a win/win for you! Lucky for you you have such a nice landlady and a good relationship with her which must make things a bit easier for you - I don't envy you sleeping "away" from home so much.
I'm going to get snowshoes when I move east - I'll need them just to get to the end of my laneway!

Lucky you, being able to work from home on Fridays. Hope it happens!!

I am such a bad sleeper that a night in a strange bed means a night awake for me, so I know how you must feel about sleeping at home, hope it works out for you. Fingers crossed.
