What to do when your caramels fail to set




Scoop it up with a spoon, and prepare then for giving! 'Cause who doesn't love to eat off a spoon!

Update on the spoons: rolled them in chopped peanuts, dipped them in chocolate and they're now officially labeled " Turtles on a spoon"... Amazing how what could be viewed as a disaster has now turned into a new holiday tradition, as everyone who's tried one, has taken 2 or 3 home with them!

CS, I got the recipe from October 2010 Oprah's magazine. But I didn't cook them long enough, so they didn't set. It didn't specify white or brown sugar so I used white, which could have made the difference. They taste amazing however.
