Changes in the meal plan

My sister called me this afternoon, bored and looking for something to do. We ended up going for a picnic in a local park. We sat by the water while my nephew played in the sand and we soaked up some sun. We ate cucumber sandwiches, hummus and bread, cheddar cheese, watermelon, baby carrots and finished it off with a thermos of coffee. We walked around the park and ended the day with ice cream ( moon mist for my nephew and chocolate peanut butter parfait for the adults). we were gone for 4 hours and it was a perfect way to spend the day. I also bought fresh beans and peas this morning at the market for a total of 3.75. the ice cream was 2.75.

Tomorrow I'll post what I spent for the month... What an eye opener!

Plus my house is clean! My sister saw it and she's was amazed! Flylady has really helped me out! I even sloved the issue of the missing chair cushion! I was putting things away in DD's room and my very large sleeping bag was in her room. I looked at it and thought" this could do the trick" and it did! So my missing cushion is now replaced for free!

DD called tonight and needed some money for groceries. So I transferred 50.00 into her account. I'm still ending the month in the black, as I have 60.00 in cash in my wallet!

I work tomorrow night and Sunday's have been busy so I should leave with around 100.00 tomorrow night. Which will pay for my dentist trip, inspection and registration. Enjoy the rest of your week-end everyone!

You had a great day.
No weeding, lawn cutting, dishes, laundry, grocery shopping, and cooking dinner.
Oh did I say that out loud!!!
Enjoy your long weekend and I hope you make lots of tips, which I'm sure you will.

I only do 3-4 loads of laundry a week now, I've been doing 10 minutes of weeding an evening , but I don't have a lot of flower beds. I did the dishes too, but I only have a few dishes to do each day.

Did you get any rain today? It rained really hard here all morning... and it wasn't even in the forecast.

Sounds like a great day with your sister and nephew!

Oh the joys of having a clean house, I love the Flylady concept but the mountains of emails really put me off. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

CS, it looked like it was going to rain on and off all day but we didn't get any.

Muareen, I just filter through the e-mails and keep a few. I like to read how the concept has changed peoples lives.
