Death of a storm door

This morning my back door is snowed in, so puppy and I headed put the front door. I need to replaced the front door and it heavy metal storm door and its going to happen in the spring, however the metal storm door decided that this morning it was literally going to keel over and die. Yep, as I opened the storm door it fell backwards and snapped its hinges. So, in the middle of a blizzard, its laying there on the snow still connected to the house by the bottom thinging that stops it from blowing wide open...

I laughed instead of cried, b/c I figure there's got to be something really good headed my way really soon!

LOL. sorry don't mean to laugh but enjoyed the way you narrate. I probably would have laughed, too. Especially since the intentions are to replace it during the spring.

I hope it all true that something really good is headed your way! ;)

Hey CS the door is beyond repair. It snapped the hinges. Its now laying its side beside the house. I'm going to drag it to the curb this week. I'll cover the door with plastic and pray really hard that the door doesn't blow open. Actually I think I'll drive a nail or two and keep it secured that way.

My mantra right now is yellow house, new windows, red front door... ( That's how I picture the house when I have the out side renovated)

PS I heard 30cms for up here! Any word on what you might get?
