Things went AOK!

I'm home now and just had a bit to eat ( 2 soft boiled eggs and a piece of toast to be exact. The joint where my small and large intestine meet is smooth...  not bumpy like it should be. He found and biopsied  a couple of areas,  as he thinks  I may have celiac's disease... ??? We shall see...

I feel really good, gassy and tired. I was very lucky, as I slept well last night ( only got up twice, which is normal for me). I drank the rest of the stuf between 4:30 and 6:00 am,  used the bathroom 12 times for sure, then I fell asleep until 8:30. I got up fed the dogs, showered and was at the hospital by 09:30. I was in the or room by 12:00, and home by 2:00.  Everything was gone out of my body, including what I ate yesterday... Thank God... I guess it pays to eat healthy most of the time, as there was not a lot of "junk" floating this time...  The young nurse was surprised that I didn't take any medication at all. The bonus was my B/P was 119/74... Yes, it's staying down these days. Oh, and I lost 5 lbs ( which was water weight)... Ba ha...

Now, I'm off to bed for a power nap, and fingers crossed I'll take the dogs out later on for a short walk. I've gotta get rid of some of this gas.

you didn't take any kind of sedative for it?
Glad to hear it all went well (apart from the possible Celiac diagnosis)! Sounds like you're doing right for yourself with all the exercise and good food. Enjoy your outing with the dogs xx

Hi Jolie, they gave me a sedative, but one that makes you feel ok afterwards. I'm legally impaired until this morning, no driving, no mowing lawns, etc. I was awake and getting dressed on my own while waiting for my mom to come and pick me up. My nap was heavenly, I woke up after 5:30 and took the dogs for a 20 minute walk. I slept like a baby last night too!
