Monday was a good day!
I have my surgery yesterday, and they found nothing wrong. They left everything where it was and I have one little incision in my belly button. The anesthesiologist can and met with me, and did a different mix. I had no nausea, no panicky feelings afterwards... They've listed me with an allergy to morphine, which I'm so thankful for. I've been taking Advil and Tylenol for pain, and the script they sent home with will be shredded.
I was home by 12:30, had a little nap, the dog walker came and took the puppies for a run, they didn't want to go with out me, but after a change in direction they went for 20 minutes in the minus 20 something... She's one of DD's best friends and she sat and had tea with us afterwards, before she went to work. I also gave my mother 25.00, as we're going to split the cost of a 50/50 ticket for our local hospice centre. The tickets are 50/each and they're selling 5000. Whatever the amount of money they raise, half will go to the winner... I'm so happy that we'll have a up and running hospice here in the future, as it will be a huge win/win for all...
I even had energy to cook supper, oven rice, and stir fry with sugar snap peas, carrots, red pepper and mushrooms. My mother stayed with me until bedtime, and I sent her home. I knew she wouldn't sleep well, and I had no worries. I was in bed by 10:00 with the lights out, and I woke up at 3:00, where I read, had a drink and a snack, and listened to the radio. I fell back asleep at around 5:00 and woke back up at 7:30.
Today's plan include a shower, a load of laundry, some shredding of papers, reading and watching some tv... I may venture out with the dog walker for a little stroll... Not 100% sure on that one yet.
I must be off, the dogs need their second trip outside, and I need to bring the garbage can from the end of drive way to the back door...
