Friday...
After putting in two mentally exhausting days at work ( but not letting it get me down, working through the emotions of others and doing some really positive self-care ( I cannot tell you how much I love getting home from work and seeing my dog, and he's so excited to know that he's going for a walk...), plus I went out last night, had a few good laughs and had some fun...
I even did the walk, run thing with the dog last night, which felt pretty good.
I got the furnace looked at and when it was installed the workers screwed up a couple of minor things, but the boss figured it out in 20 minutes and it's working like a charm. No more using the emergency heat and the house temp rising to 76 degrees!
Oh and I've listed the house again... So ladies ( and gents if you read this), say a few good words so this house can be SOLD...
today is the day to get ready to send my secret sister parcel in the mail...
I need to pick up two more things for it and I'm done.... I hope she likes it! It's in the mail... and I enjoyed picking things up for it... It should be there in 5 business days...
I also received my gift today from http://thefoodallergychronicles.wordpress.com/ the lovely Susan... Everything was packaged in a deep purple, and there was a rocking hat ( which I placed on my head right away and wore for my walk, a travel cup with cozy with lovely purple buttons, 2 cooking magazines, cookies, tea, hot chocolate, chocolate chips, and a red lip balm... I maybe forgetting something... I sent an email ( and I hope it went through,) and thanked her, now I need to let Carla know that I got mine and sent mine too!
