Losing my S**t at work... and other things

Yesterday, while trying to do something, and having people goof off while I was doing this, I literally lost my s**t for about 5 seconds... Not a sound was made for the rest of the day... I think I scared some people... Good I say!

My dad's surgery has been postponed until hopefully early next week. Which means that it's looking like my mom will end up being alone for most of the week, unless we can come up with a plan B - lack of child care ( my sister is off but doesn't have someone to watch my nephew), having to work ( me and I'm doing training that I can't get out of), and my brother starts a new job Monday. Fingers crossed that something can work out!

March goals: track my spending and declutter some areas of the house ( spare room and the china cabinet. I'd also like to save 100.00 towards a trip down south next year.

I find that loosing it at works sometimes puts people on an even keel. We have a joy sucker(drama queen) at work who always has something to say. The other day I turned around and told her if she could feed the resident better than me she was welcome to, to which the resident replied..I don't want her shes evil. Gotta admit I hugged the resident.!

Good for you Sam, wish I had the nerve to let my co-workers have it - they are the laziest group I've ever worked with!
Hope you can work things out for your dad's operation. What's that saying? "life is what happens when you're busy making other plans"!!
Thumbs up to you, Sam. Sometimes people really have to have it. Not the point you think you'd have to get to with adults, but there we are...

Good luck to finding a family solution that works for all of you and I hope your dad's surgery goes well.

Take care of yourself through this!

Sam,
Sometimes it's good to vent off steam otherwise it just gets bottled up inside you, or worse you take it home with you.
I had a huge blow out on the shop floor with our new Supervisor who likes to see people back down, or cry. He picked the wrong chick! He doesn't dare come near me and when he does He is like a pussy cat. Works for me.
Hopefully you can work out something for your Dad's operation.
