So far so good...
on the fun and frugal part. I spent no money on Friday or Saturday, I made 95.00 last night working which will go towards gas and a few groceries.
Friday night I passed on the washer toss tournament, and instead went to a friends for a camp fire! It was very nice to sit outside and chat around the fire. I had all the making for s'mores, and they were very tasty!
Today I've been invited to a BBQ for supper, and I'll make some type of dessert ; I'm thinking strawberry shortcake with tea biscuits, all I'll need to buy is strawberries and some whipping cream... I'll make the biscuits...
I'm back to work tomorrow, so I have my schedule done up, and I'll be getting the bulk of the work done in the mornings, and my schedule is flexible enough that I can do the rest at any time...
Oh and funny story from Friday: I took the dog to a local park, where he rolled in something, I realized as soon as I saw him start to roll it was his frantic, "I've found something dead and rotting" roll, I jerked his lead, he came out of the bushes with a clear red liquid all over one side, and gave me the " what, I'm doing what dogs do" look. I ended up laughing so hard I had tears running down my face instead of getting PO'ed at him. I took him into the water, washed him as best as I could, and continued walking for a while longer. When it was time to go home, I keep an old blanket in the car, so I threw that down over the back seat, he jumped in and promptly laid down, and never moved during the drive home. He stunk so bad, that I was almost gagging. we arrived home, I tied him outside and went into the house to get something to clean him with. I washed him down where he had rolled and he still smelled like poop ( human poop). I checked him all over, and then I saw it: a small smear of poop on his neck ( about the size of a twoonie). I cleaned him again and left him outside for a couple of more hours until I knew for sure that the smells were gone!
