Last night was the worse ever...

shift I worked at my PT job. I made mistake after mistake, to the point where I pulled myself off the board and told the rest of the staff that I wasn't taking any more tables unless absolutely necessary! I apologized to everyone ( surprisingly I didn't make mistakes with orders for what the people wanted, I did stupid things like adding tables together, ordering extra food, etc!). I still managed to make 70.00 after all, and most people were pretty understanding). One table the "lady" was acting pretty uppity, and showing off to her friends. Really, is that how you treat people? I'd love to go to her work place and treat her like she treated me. I have no patience for people like that, but working in the service industry, it happens!

I had 2 showings of my house this week-end. Both went well, but no bites yet... The house is looking good and so is the outside. Today I have a graduation party to attend, and it is Father's day, so DD will have to call her father and grandfathers.

The really good news? I'll be on vacation as of 4:30 Friday afternoon for a whole 10 days! I'm not working anywhere for 10 days! I have no plans to do anythings, except maybe take in a few Canada day events. My budget will be down by a couple of hundred dollars, but I need a break!

Sounds like you had something on your mind when you were working. Or maybe you were just tired. I'm glad you have a holiday break to look forward to.

So sorry it was a rough night for you. Glad you were able to walk away with $70 though! Vacation is probably the best thing right now!

I remember people acting like that when I was waiting tables and I feel kind of sorry for them. What quality of life do they lead that it makes them feel good to be mean to the people serving them? Have a great vacation!

Sorry that you had a bad night. At least you recognized it and removed yourself before something really bad happened.

Just keep thinking of your time off. That'll put a smile on your face :)
