I'm going back to school...

Yes, you've read this title right, i'm starting my diploma in Adult Education this winter! It'll cost me about 5,000.00 in total ( it'll be income tax deductible) and that includes staying in a hotel, and gas. How am I feeling? Nervous, exctied and scared all at the same time! I decided to do the diploma first, then my Masters! Changes are coming once again, and I'm saying bring it on!

FYI, after Canada and the US for readers, the next country is: South Africa! Please if you read my blog in South Africa, please let me know who you are!

I think your idea to return to school is fantastic! It also sounds like doing this certificate will be a good warmup for your Master's!

What jobs are you looking at getting after completing the education?

it is always good to upgrade one's skill sets.

Jason

Jason, I'm looking towards moving towards HR or teaching adults in some aspect, or perhaps a combination of both. It's a win/win for me.

Sam - I started off teaching in Adult Education and LOVED it - but unfortunately it's categorized as Part-time/occasional here, so after 7 years I took a job in special ed and got a permanent job with much needed benefits.
You go girl!!

I have gone right back to day 1 and read every post - I just love it as I feel like I can really relate to you and your life! Have picked up some great tips from you and my plan to get out of debt started last week. Thanks for your inspiration.
