What my body is telling me!
This morning, when I went to greet the morning by rolling out of bed, I turned to swing my body and ended up doubled over in pain. It felt like I tore a muscle and I heard a pleasant "pop" sound. I started to cry and doubled over went to the bathroom and took the dog outside to pee, while tears keep rolling down my face as I try to breath. Twenty minutes later the pain is still there, so I called my mother to drive to to the ER. After x-rays, blood and urine tests, plus the doctor pressing my side and flexing my leg, plus him having to help me roll over to get off the bed, diagnosis, muscle spasm under the rib cage. I'd rather give birth again than experience this pain. So, I'll be taking Advil 3 or 4 times a day for the next 7 days, plus stretch every day and exercise.
My body is telling to let go of some stress. I'll need to plan my days better, and have an action plan and a set of tasks to complete every day. I have to do this, no more flying by the seat of my pants! So, I'd like to take a moment to say thanks to my body for telling my brain to get it together or I'll end up in worse shape!
Today I have to do a few errands, plus DD is leaving for the week, so tonight shall be a night of sitting by the fireplace reading and drinking tea I do believe.
