It's been a long time...

It's been alomst 2 years since I wrote in my tiny space here. IS anyone still lurking? Much has changed, yet little has changed. I'm back to work FT now, after nearly 7 years of working PT or being off on LTD. I'm enjoying my new job. Its only for a year right now, but it could lead to a permenant position. I'm still dating the LG, we are in our 9th year... Time is flying by for sure. We are currently doing some renovations. A New kitchen/dining area. We are paying cash for every thing. We flipped the kitchen and dining areas. We are installing new floors in the kitchen, new cupboards, counter, electrical wiring, lights, appliances. Most of the work we can do our selves, but things like hook up the eletical to the panel, that's up to the experts! We have purchased new appliances and will have them delivered in about 8 weeks or so. I'm getting a dishwasher after 21 years of living here! My family is good, my DD will be getting married in the next year or so. It will be small wedding, about 25 people, she has her wedding outfit bought ( thrifted, on sale, etc). Her biggest expense will be the meal. It's definetly an event style... 6 hours, and about 200/ per person... LG and I will be contribiting towards this, but we are not paying for all of it... i'm guessing we will pay between 1500-2000. That's about it for now, I'm still here... Just lurking mainly
