I picked up my new vehicle today. I'm quite pleased with it. :) I was sitting outside tonight with the dog and thinking about all I've done in the past 17 years.
I graduated from university with a 4 year old in tow.
I found a good paying job.
I bought my first car ( used with my dad as a co-signer).
I started paying into a pension and RRSPs.
I bought my first home ( all by myself).
When I went for mortgage renewal I borrowed enough to do the exterior renovations.
I paid off in full my student loans ( I figure about 54,000 is what i paid back)
I bought a brand new car.
I also had lots of fun raising my DD on my own and making new friends over the years. I've had my share of financial ups and downs but life just keeps getting better and better.
